Agriturismo Casanova di Lucignano

We stayed at the accommodation for a week and felt very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome and were shown around. In addition to olive oil and very good wine from the region, which you can buy, there is also a vegetable box with home-grown vegetables that you can help yourself to. The whole complex is a Tuscan dream and the beautiful pool rounds off the holiday paradise. Our room was large and spacious, the bathroom and kitchen very clean. You hardly noticed the other guests. From there you can walk to a Carrefour, visit the small town or drive to Siena for a day trip, which is not far away. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to make a few days in Tuscany unforgettable.

I found Elena’s place through Google maps by chance and contacted Elena directly through the website. The apartment we booked was clean, spacious and well equipped. We stayed for 6 nights and found the apartment to be quite cool inside even when it was very hot outside. Whilst the apartment pretty much had everything we needed already, Elena was a gracious host and she was always there to help when we needed anything. There is a box of fruit and veg outside free for us to take whatever we needed, and a list of wine produced in the vineyards nearby you can purchased from Elena herself. The apartment is located in a town near Siena called Monteroni and it was a good base for us to visit many places around Tuscany in under 1-2 hours and then returning to the pool in the late afternoon to cool down. The town itself is nothing to shout about but having the Coop and Carefour nearby was convenient for when we needed groceries and various bits and bobs. Highly recommend for anyone who is unfussy and looking for a home away from home!

Nice apartment with all the things you need. Elena is a wonderful and attentive host. Lovely pool area and nice parking opportunities. Dining options within walking distance. Would highly recommend this agriturismo!
