Camping Hendaye Ametza

A brilliant and perfect campsite with excellent facilities. We had a pitch with our own bathroom and sink area which made this a really nice addition to our stay. Hendaye is a lovely and a well kept secret town too, excellent beach area and great links to other places via train or car or cycling too.

Lovely little site. Generous shaded pitches. We were given our own key for a bathroom for our entire stay! They were cleaned every day. Good facilities, albeit the campsite shop had limited stock and was quite pricey. There is no local shop to nip to. Excellent park for children. The site restaurant served basic food, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There isn't actually that much in Hendaye apart from a beautiful beach. It can also be quite hilly. Good transport links via bus to the train station if you want to take a trip to San Sebastian for the day. The pool is good, nice and deep. My only gripe: it didn't open until 10 am in the morning.

Top camping with exception facilities if you like to have your own personal toilet, shower, sink etc. One small issue washing our clothes (€6 per wash/dry) not spinning properly and hence not tumble drying before we left. We finished with a lovely lunch at the on-site restaurant. Merci beaucoup
