Hotel Franciscaine

A great place to stay at a decent price. We stayed there for one night. The hotel is quite peaceful. The staff is kind and the breakfast was good. There is also a safe location to store your bike. It is an old building and therefore you can hear your neightbors speaking. That is the only downturn.

As a catholic Christian there is nothing Franciscan to this place. It gives a bad rep to the huge giant of Christianity. Rooms are good. Place run like a sterile business with no vocation for hosting and sharing the beauty of the Christian good news.

Rooms & dining area is ultra clean & well serviced.. The place feels llike a youth hostel that caters to adults. I paid for dinner which is very basic with melon starter & small slice of quiche..,and zero vegetables or carbohydrates.. Definitely not good value for money paid & insufficient foe active hikers staying...
