We came upon Heatherfield House by accident, when Barbara kindly responded to my desperate appeal after our previously booked accommodation cancelled on us at short notice. What a wonderful discovery ! Beautifully situated with views to die for, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast (freshly cooked Scotch pancakes still warm off the griddle) and Barbara and her husband were very helpful and charming. Highly recommend.
