Sligachan Hotel

I didn’t stay here but popped in to ask if they served non-residents a cup of tea (just for one person). I waited at the front desk for around 10 minutes before poking my head into what looked like the breakfast room to ask a waitress if I could buy a cup of tea to take away, or perhaps sit in the reception area while I waited for my bus. She abruptly replied, “We’re closed,” and walked off without another word. Her attitude was quite frankly rude. Definitely won’t be returning — even when they are “open.”

Great place to say. Can't say enough about the bartender and food. Get the mushroom soup and salad... amazing! The bartender was amazing! He was kind, knowledgeable and made amazing drinks.

Checked into a lovely updated room, lots of great tea caddy options and great shower. But quite creaky and noisy from the other rooms. The blonde haired reception staff was sooo friendly and really welcoming...the other unfortunately not so much. Lovely bar and restaurant attached to the hotel.
