10 stars for this wonderful pearl of a campsite. Everyone from the staff to the guests greet each other and it’s a very convivial vibe campsite. Great and clean amenities, which are well taken care of. Special thanks to Ela who has a wonderful soul. She makes the best coffees too so make sure you get one in the morning. Also makes wonderful pottery which you can buy at the site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful campsite and we will definitely be back and be recommending this campsite to anyone that wants to hear it. I stayed here for 2 nights mainly to visit Munich, this place is a 15 min walk to the train station so is absolutely ideal. They have a good online booking system and clear instructions when you arrive if reception is closed. It had a really lovely friendly atmosphere with lots of shared seating areas etc. Highly recommended.

If I could give 6 stars I would to make up for all those inaccurate low star reviews. This is a quirky site which really grows on you when you fully appreciate what it has to offer. We stayed on the grassy tent site in our VW campervan which had excellent access to all facilities. Clean sanitary block with adequate provision of showers and loos. Washing machine and dryer and also washing up area with hot water. I am sure there was disposal for chemical toilets too but we don’t need that facility. It was really hot while we were there so we chilled in the outside marquees and verandas. Cold beers available when the bar is open after 5:32pm! We chose this location because access links to Munich were excellent but it is a pretty little town too and many other attractions are within short driving distance. We made a mistake on our booking. We thought we had booked 3 nights but had only booked 2! And it was the May bank holiday so really busy and full but nothing was too much trouble for Michi who helped us out. Thank you. When we are in this area again, we will definitely look to book here first.
