Hotel Continental Drobeta-Turnu Severin

Do yourself and the local community a favor and pick a local room to rent. Positives. Breakfast was good, neighborhood was nice, walkable restaurants and store, room was clean during check in. Noon check out, breakfast until 11AM, mini fridgeand coffee/tea in room. Reception and wait staff are nice and friendly. Negatives. The price was 250% the cost of local rooms available and it was basically for the Danube view only. Pay to park in their lot? (Thankfully free and safe street parking). Housekeeping clearly entered the room and took an empty bottle from a nightstand, did not make the bed, did not clean the bathroom, did not take out the trash. Why did they even go in the room? Bed, and soaps were mediocre. To be honest, for the price difference none of the negatives are worth staying here.

The best experience of Drobeta Turnu Severin regarding accommodation and unbelievable breakfast. Large, huge rooms, great view over the Danube. Clean, fast, polite. Also great waiters, white shirt, black vest, nice smile and great service. For the view and surroundings but also for the city treasures I recomand a two day stay here. It really worth it.

Good money for value, kindly staff, clean room, nice room design. The shower didn't have a curtain and half of the bathroom floor was wet after using it Not sure if the curtain would even help as the bathroom is designed to be used also by people with disabilities
