This is our second visit in our motorhome. The big grass field has tremendous views, and you can walk down to the village on the footpaths. For a longer walk, you can cross the fields to the Journey's End 13c pub. The B road down to Bigbury is a little narrow for a big van, but it's worth it, and the sandy beach is lovely.

Amazing Site with easy booking on line, we had a non electric camper van pitch for 3 nights. We arrived in thick Mist and could barely see where to go but it is a big field site with no arrival formalities or booking in - we found a spot and settled in. You need to have ramps if in a van as most pitches are sloping. Once the mist cleared the full magic of the site was revealed the views to Burgh island are superb. But the true magic is the wonderful charm of the farm it is truly lovely with a timeless feel. On our visit this August there were lots of young families lots of very happy children and just a fab friendly chilled atmosphere. We enjoyed delicious pizza cooked on site in a wood fired oven, and superb coffee and croissants other pastries and yummy things too from the farm barista cabin. It is just a short albeit hill walk down to Bigbury bay with stunning beaches the island and wonderful lifeguard patrolled bathing surfing boarding beaches. We loved it and couldnt recommend it enough - For that Quintessential - Family - dare I say, old fashioned feeling camping experience I think you would be hard pushed to better this site. We look forward to returning. Roger

Fantastic views over Burgh Island and the beautiful Devon coastline. Camp anywhere in the field. Easy walk down the hill to the beach...tough walk back up again 😅 Not my first time and won't be the last. Great site!
