Loved this hotel, the view from our room overlooking the Achensee was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly at all levels and constantly greeted the guests, something a lot of other properties can learn from and yes guests do notice these little things. We also enjoyed a great massage, that was so relaxing I couldn’t get up from the massage bed lol. The cost around 95 euros with tip for 50 minutes. Definitely worth it! The onsite restaurant has a fabulous breakfast but the dinners are very expensive and not great. Skip dinners there if possible.

The hotel is quiet, beautiful, and very clean. All the staff are polite and respectful, and the restaurant team was also very kind with great service. A small suggestion: adding one or two halal food options would be great for Muslim guests, and providing a kettle for morning coffee would be much more convenient than going to the buffet or ordering it to the room for an extra fee. However, the bed was not as booked — we reserved a King-size bed but got two Twin beds pushed together with a small gap, which was disappointing, especially during our honeymoon. During check-out, the staff member was very polite and apologized, explaining that the mattresses should be covered with one sheet to avoid the gap, which was appreciated.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (10th to 13th Jul 2025) and, overall, had a great experience. The location is ideal, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast service was also quite good, especially for a 4-star hotel. However, I wanted to bring up an incident that happened a day before my check-out. I approached a lady at the reception to ask for a one-hour late check-out since I was traveling with 5 family members, including four kids, and packing up takes a bit more time. Her response was surprisingly rude and dismissive. When I tried to explain why I needed the extra hour, she got loud and accused me of arguing. To avoid any further conflict, I just smiled and walked away. I get that sometimes the hotel might be fully booked and can't accommodate such requests, but the receptionist's attitude was really uncalled for. It was a simple request, and I feel that guests should always be treated with courtesy and respect. Despite this, I don't want to judge the entire hotel based on one person's behavior. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the efforts of the rest of the staff. I hope the management can address this issue to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for all guests.
