Casona El Gurugú

Hotel located in Luarca. The rooms were themed, each with a different theme. They weren't very spacious, although they were well-maintained. The bathroom had a small bathtub, but the rest of the bathroom was fine. The staff was friendly; as an anecdote, my daughter dropped a flip-flop in a hard-to-reach area, and a staff member picked it up and left it in our room. We were very grateful. The breakfast was good, and the waitresses were always attentive to make sure we had everything we needed; they were very friendly. The pool was a bit small, but the views from the common areas were spectacular. On the downside, the location is on a hill; you have to go down and then up a steep hill to get to the town center and back to the hotel.

A wonderful place, spectacular views, well-maintained, clean, and tasteful. Highly recommended. The owner, Avelino, is a delightful person: polite, friendly, helpful, in a word, charming. A joy.

The location is beautiful, a little "far" from the town due to the hills. The rooms are very nice, and the hotel is very welcoming.
