Hotel Chalet Giasenei

A clean, cozy, and pleasant hotel with a great view, and it’s dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The rooms were spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel welcome. There are many places to explore in the surrounding area. Breakfast was a bit limited, but overall the value for money was very good and we had a wonderful experience.

Thinnest walls in a Hotel i have ever experienced. Pretty uncomfortable listening to the details of the lovers in the next room. They also had a dog that barked very loudly inside. So the hotel is dog friendly, this I did not know. Room was 103 I think. Gorgeous view from hotel and great hot chocolates, so if you are going perhaps avoid this room and the one next to it with a request.

To be honest , we didn’t enjoy our stay. The hotel is new but of low standard. Half of what’s listed on Booking.com wasn’t actually available. Be aware that there is no spa — it’s just a private room for one hour at a cost of 80€ fer room.. The fridge didn’t work, so following the reception’s advice we had to put our medication on the balcony since it was cold outside. The food was really poor quality — you could say it was like canned food — and it didn’t match the photos shown on Booking.com or on their website.
