Pensiunea Flori Haus Saschiz

Nice location but a couple of things to pay attention to: there is no drinking water, so you have to purchase water bottles there (0,5L 6lei), there is no card payment available and the bungalows have a much better condition and space than the other rooms. Flori is a very attentive host!

Amazing place with view over the mountains and close to a lot of highlights. The host is an amazing lady, she speaks english very well and is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was amazing too and the bed and shower very comfortable

We stayed here while on our Via Transylvanica walk. We walked from Criț (the first section through cool forest and meadow, the second on an exposed tarmac road with little shade but no traffic). The host is a lovely lady and we were made to feel at home. The one issue that must be addressed is water, especially for those arriving by foot. Tap water is not drinkable. There is no alternative other than purchasing 500ml bottles for 5 lei. Admittedly the bottled water is cold and there's an ice machine. But the price adds up very quickly when you're hot and thirsty. And the price keeps adding when you need to buy water for dinner, in your room and breakfast (no juices or water were provided at breakfast). For those without a car and no easy access to a shop there should be the option to buy large unrefrigerated bottles at a reasonable price.
