Feather Down Fountain Violet Farm

This was our third stay on a Feather Down Farm and by far the best with a great location, an absolutely stunning view and Edward was the most friendly and caring host all through the week. The kids loved playing with Edwards labrador Harvey each day until everyone was out of breath 😄 This location offers an absolutely one off view and a lot of lovely things to do in the Devon area.

Absolutely wonderful place. The location is out of this world, I wanted to sit and look out at the view all day. There’s a really beautiful walk to the coastal path and a beach close by. The huts are amazing! I was so surprised by how much room we had inside. Ample cooking facilities and equipment inside and out. A warm shower! What a treat. The fire kept us warm in the evening whilst we played cards under candlelight. The host was super helpful and always around (with his friendly dogs). It was a truly special weekend spent in nature. Idyllic spot overlooking the dart estuary. 5 tents with superb views down to the shore. The tents have no electricity, but are amply supplied with wood, candles, tea lights, paraffin lamps - there's no problem with light & heat. There's an honesty shop on site, with a charge bank for phones etc. Getting into town is straightforward - 15 min walk down the road, or 20 mins through fields. Great place to spend a couple of weeks 🙂
