Excellent chocolate, apple and walnut cake. Very friendly waitress and reasonable prices. Toilets were the cleanest and most comfortable I have ever used in all the mountains I've visited. Beautiful setting.

Small refuge on top of the mountain, honestly very cramped with nowhere to chill and sit as it’s freezing cold outside and everyone is trying to make friends with everyone on the lounge. Honestly for introverts, this is not a place for you as everyone is cramped to maximise accommodation, it’s one of the oldest refuge so don’t expect 5 star comfort. With the service, staff are very friendly and accommodating. They did their best to accommodate everyone despite lack of staff and resources. Reviews are quite unfair as they don’t have internet to defend themselves but there’s nothing much they can do. Entitled hikers showing up with no reservation deserve being rejected as GR10 is quite a popular route and it’s not their problem if you didn’t prepare for an accommodation. It’s not their fault that you climbed 1,500 elevation gain and have nothing to stay in, since your arrogance got in your head might as well use it to look for a place to sleep in. Overall the issue is not the place but the people.

Had a great stay here! The weather was cold in the beginning of June, but they had many warm blankets. Dinner was great. The trail was partially covered with snow which made following the route slightly hard
