Hotel Porta Marmorea

Good location. Bkfast ok. Noisy rooms , vending machine close to room doors+ you can listen to all the toilet flushings in the building. Rooms are desperate for some renovation

I stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period with my family (including my small dog). I had a great time: clean, rooms that weren't huge but had everything you need. We chose the breakfast option, and it was plentiful and fresh, both sweet and savory. The staff was very helpful and attentive. It's very close to the center of beautiful Gubbio, a 5-minute walk away. The only downside was the parking, but if you have the patience to look for something, you'll eventually find it. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Small reception. Not cheap, with a €9 breakfast. Often closed during the day, so you have to find staff at the adjacent hotel (under the same management). Cramped room. The air conditioning broke during the night, and the water soaked our shoes. The receptionist was unfriendly. The morning lady was kind and attentive (given the problem). A terrible experience, not recommended.
