Austria Trend Hotel Congress Innsbruck is conveniently located about ten minutes from the bustling Altstadt. Bus stops are situated just outside the hotel, and the funicular station is right at the doorstep, making it very easy to get around. There is also a supermarket next to the hotel, which is convenient for picking up snacks or drinks. We arrived at around one in the afternoon, before the official check in time. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage, which gave us the freedom to head out and explore. When we returned later in the evening, the check in process was smooth and efficient, and we were assigned a room on level two. The room was large and spacious, with ample space to relax. There were chairs and a table, which made it comfortable for resting after a long day out. The bathroom was equally spacious and came with a bathtub. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a little too soft for our preference. Also, the footsteps from the room above could be heard but remained quiet during silent hours. Housekeeping and towel changes were done daily. Overall, the hotel offered great comfort and excellent value for money. It was a very pleasant stay and a solid choice for anyone visiting Innsbruck.

My partner and I stayed here during early January and absolutely LOVED our stay. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, meaning we did get the welcome pass and were able to use buses with ease. The staff were phenomenal, checking in all the way to our check out. The staff were helpful with directions and best places to go for information. When we arrived we also got offered a discount for their inclusive breakfast, which we decided to get. This was a great call - the breakfast buffet here was amazing. Hot breakfast to cold breakfast, there was great variety for everyone. They also had breakfast options that you can ask staff for (such as omelet’s or a soft boiled egg) that they gladly did with no extra charge. Highly recommend getting their inclusive breakfasts as it is filling and a great option when you’re on the go and wanting to fill up before a busy day. This hotel was a very easy walk to the city centre and main transport services. If you are interesting in doing the Nordkette experience, the ticket office for it is less than 10 minutes away from this hotel. The room itself was also great, the water pressure in the shower was the best we had experienced while travelling across Europe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. There is a Spar right next door when you are wanting a snack or quick lunch option if you’re not looking to walk to the city centre. Thank you for having us stay, we will be back again!

Overall – clean, modern business hotel located close to the town centre and public transport. Recommended for short stays I stayed in this hotel in the ‘Superior Room’ for 3 nights in mid October 2025 with 1 other person. Location: Good – Spar supermarket next to the hotel. Directly opposite the train station that will take you up to the Nordkette and close to the city centre (about a 10min walk). Innsbruck guest card (for free public transport) is also provided however I had to specifically request this from reception. This was not proactively offered. Underground car parking is provided but has to be reserved in advance for 20 euro per night. A welcome drink was provided. Room (Superior Room) Overall the room was clean and provided all the usual amenities for a typical business hotel. There was adequate space for 2 adults. Only issue (and not limited to this hotel) is that the shower was of a frameless design (no shower door) so some water was able to escape the shower. Service was good and I encountered no other issues during my stay – I would stay in this hotel again in the future.
