I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience truly disappointed me I made a booking at this hotel and realized within approximately 10 minutes that I had accidentally selected the wrong month. I contacted the hotel immediately to correct the mistake. Not after a week. Not after a day, within mintes. Despite this, the hotel refused free cancellation and required a CHF 50 “processing fee” plus a price difference to change the dates an amount that practically equals booking a new room elsewhere. I fully understand what a non-refundable rate means. However, policies exist to protect businesses from losses and in this case, the hotel clearly incurred none. The request was made almost immediately after booking. Instead of showing flexibility or basic customer-oriented thinking, the hotel strictly hid behind policy. technically correct? Perhaps. Hospitable? absolutely not.

I was in this lovely restaurant on my trip to Basel, and I can’t say enough nice things about it. From the greeting at the door, thru the service and the food, all is very nice. I have had “Brasato di Ossobuco Classico”, a great meal, that just melts in your mouth. Service is also great, servers and the bar tender, are very pleasant and very efficient. Highly recommended restaurant in the centre of the city, easy reachable by city train. Definitely will come back again.

Extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming receptionist! We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, and our room was cleaned every single day. They even gave us a card for free transportation and a 50% discount on tickets for attractions like museums in the city. I highly recommend it!
