B & Wellness Fisterre

Great hotel, with amazing facilities for the room price. About a 15-minute walk into town. Very friendly service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

For context we had just finished 4 days hiking the Alta Via 1 and Belluno is the finishing town of that trek. We booked this via Capital One Travel for two nights to be able to use the spa, sauna, etc. I have no service travelling internationally so it was my surprise when I showed up to check in that no one was there and we were met with a locked door and a keypad. After waiting an hour in the sun and my friend using their service to try and call the place, the owner eventually messaged her via Whatsapp instead and told her we won't be staying in the bed and wellness but instead in the bus that seems to be designed for teenagers parked in the parking lot next door. Not only this but the luggage transfer we had scheduled to be dropped off had been placed behind a locked door in the owners office. So then we had to wait 20 minutes for him to drive in and get them for us, which he ended up blaming on us. Once he got there and we explained the Capital One Travel situation he basically told us 'to bad, so sad, should've booked differently', and informed us we would have no access to any of the spa amenities while staying in the bus. To be fair, this booking error was on Capital One, but that does not change how rude and dismissive he was. We ended up resolving the issue with Capital One to get a refund and finding a cheaper (and better) hotel in the city center. For the cherry on top, as we were leaving there was another group trying to check in with the exact same issue as us, no service, and no one to help. If we were not there to tell them the code to the reception and give them the wifi code (which was not available until we were in the bus [locked behind another code]), they would have been stranded. Maybe the facilities inside are nice, but it seems the owner is more interested in making a passive income than actually providing a service for people. And because he seems to always reply to negative reviews and harass people after the fact, maybe just take this as some constructive criticism and hire an employee.

Everything about Bed and Wellness was amazing. The location is beautiful with great views and the amenities are fantastic. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Most importantly the staff went so far above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We had planned to stay at Bed and Wellness for one night after hiking the Alta Via 1 trail, and they allowed us to leave our car and luggage with them. But then an injury made us leave the trail early, and the staff made sure we were able to check in several days early and stay an extra day and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and content. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. We are so grateful to the kind and attentive staff for providing a welcoming and luxurious stay!
