My grandfather Angelo Tinti lived here in the early 1900s: there is a photo in the family.

Aluan (the cook) is truly dangerous! If you're thinking of coming here for a diet, as well as a wonderful time of rest and relaxation, it's best to change your itinerary. Aluan is unforgiving; every one of his dishes is indispensable. My compliments to him. We had a wonderful time, not to mention Lucia's wonderful welcome, which made our stay even better.

[Paulo Coelho] Meeting Lucia and Aluan, owners of Urbech Castle, helped us rediscover this wisdom that had been buried deep within us, obscured by the frenetic pace of daily work. An enchanting place and a kind and discreet hospitality allowed us to once again see the extraordinary things in life: flavors, nature, peace, the present and the past, the essence of healthy living, and the importance of dialogue to share experiences and emotions. We stayed for three days, and they remained in our hearts. The breathtaking view at any time of day, the small, lovingly tended vegetable garden, the tastefully and delicately furnished apartment, ensuring that no corner of the house overlooks memories of the past and the needs of the present, and the magnificent dishes prepared by Chef Aluan in a journey of flavors that encompasses the most important culinary destinations in the world: all ingredients that make time pass more slowly and allow you to enjoy an unforgettable vacation. We are a family with an almost 7-year-old child, who had a great time and was able to discover new things about history, culture, and nature. The castle's location is ideal, far from the bustling city centers, yet strategically located for reaching many places of interest by car, some very close by... truly spoiled for choice. We will definitely return to this wonderful place. See you soon!
