Bilbil Vatnikaj Guest House (Peaks Of Balkans)

A great place to stay during the peaks of the balkans, providing an authentic experience and great service. We stayed here as a group of 4 who had been wild camping but ran out of food. The host was so lovely and welcoming and really looked after us - even gave us her tent as we were just using a poncho. She (sorry I’ve forgotten your name!) made sure we were well fed and watered and we had everything we needed for the hike. The food portions are good - a family style, you get given a portioned amount of certain things but then can help yourself you bread, rice, cheese ect. The host was really caring and would go out of her way to help us. Highly recommend and would definitely be back, Thank you so much!

This was our favourite place to stay on the peaks of the Balkans hike. The host was so friendly and welcoming. There was a great community spirit between the other guests and we were lucky enough to have an outside fire to sit around and share stories. The food was also delicious! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here along the Peaks of the Balkans trail. Lovely staff, views, food and great vibes. Rooms and conditions are basic but that makes it all the more charming. We were worried about gastro as we heard lots of reviews of people getting unwell in Doberdol however none of our group of four got sick. We filtered all of our water here and were fine!
