The Cove Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at Alison's The Cove B&B for a night during our bikepacking trip through Cornwall. Even though we called on the day itself (during the high season), there was still a room available and Alison happily welcomed us. We check in later than expected due to the many Cornish hills, but we got the most warm welcome ever with homemade sandwiches and cream tea at 9PM when the other places in town were closed already. Alison also showed us a beautiful swim spot that we made use of in the morning after our stay. We could swim first and then check out, what a luxury. Would gladly visit again, a true hidden gem in the Brittish countryside.

We have stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. Alison is the most lovely host, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the pink room and it was beautiful over looking the square in Pentewan village. We had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was fabulous, fresh melon and blueberries, choice of cereal and option for a full English breakfast, something on toast or breakfast sandwich, beautiful 😍 Thank you so much, we will definitely return and highly recommend.

Stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. Gill and Alison are brilliant as hosts . So friendly . So nice to have a chat each morning . Nothing is too much trouble and added bonus of their adjoining shop/cafe for delicious Cornish pasties.
