Villa Irene

At the end of July 2024, we rented three rooms from this pension. Unfortunately, on the last day, when the room was delivered, my wife left her wedding ring on the table. However, the pension staff found the ring and informed us. I was very happy with the honesty and good behavior of the pension staff. I must proudly say that in addition to the cleanliness of the rooms, the pleasant atmosphere outside, and the excellent breakfast, I saw good behavior and honesty from the staff. I hope the passengers will undoubtedly choose this place for their stay.

Stayed for one night while hiking the Malerweg. Out of all the places I visited along the way this was by far the most expensive (>100 Eur) but there was nothing outstanding about it. Room was big and clean but furnished in the most minimal way. Breakfast had nothing but the basic standards. Location is comfortable but my room was on the second floor facing East and the chimney of the neighboring house spewed smoke directly into my window. The curtains did nothing to block sunlight in the morning. There was no balcony. In short, it’s a nice bed and breakfast inn but unfortunately doesn’t deliver value for the money paid.

Lovely guesthouse. Irene and her husband were great hosts. Fridge full of beer, wine, etc to drink in a beautiful garden. Wish I had a chance to try their sauna!
