Our group of 17 spent a wonderful autumn weekend at the Neue Schänke, at the foot of Königstein Fortress. We felt very comfortable. The rooms were cozy, and we slept very well. In the mornings, there was a good breakfast buffet, and in the evenings, after a strenuous hike, we enjoyed delicious home-style cooking. An extra room was even provided for us to use for longer, more relaxed get-togethers. We would like to thank the innkeeper, the lovely grandmother, and Benni the cat for the wonderful time.
