Hotel Albrechtshof – Sächsische Schweiz

The reception/service staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very varied and dinner was very digestible. The room was very large and had a slight GDR-era charm. Some of the furnishings could use replacing. There is ample parking available.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet location on the edge of the forest. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. The service staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast selection is excellent, with something for everyone. We had an apartment with two triple bedrooms, a living room, a very large balcony, a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, and a separate toilet in another room. All the rooms were very spacious, very clean, and lovingly renovated, with some original GDR-era furniture retained, which gave the place a special charm. What we particularly appreciated was the peace and quiet. In the evenings, only the sounds of nature could be heard. It's a wonderful starting point for hikes. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for nature lovers who don't require luxury or extravagance. We also loved that the property is being renovated and restored piece by piece, rather than being demolished and rebuilt. We definitely want to come back.
