What has happened to this place?! It used to be so nice. This time we didn't have a pleasant experience. Warm kvass, luke warm food and small portions. We were the only guests at the pub, and even then the chef couldn't do their best. The waitress didn't have anything to say to us. Noone cared. Just peeped at us from behind the curtains. We ate the mediocre food just because we were hungry and had come especially to this place which used to be so great. So sad....... The small pieces of dry chicken thigh were covered by two hefty slices of an orange. Potatoes were 3 euros extra. Pathetic...... The other portion looked even worse. There were three small pieces of pork. Each portion 15 euros. The attitude of the staff really upset me. Not going to return. I hope my stomach isn't going to be upset either.

I visited this hotel during my solo motorcycle trip across Kurzeme. I was staying in the tent during this trip, but this one was exception and it was totally worth it. Very-very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very good planned - enough space for all my soft panniers and motorcycle clothes. The room and the hotel itself was very authentic in vary positive way. There was good bathroom which at first sight looked small, but with my height 190 cm it was very optimal at the end. Yes, there were only 5-6 TV programs, but who needs that when you have so spectacular seashore just in 5 minutes walk. I was able to park my motorcycle right under the windows. Very nice breakfast - I would suggest to take this as option as well.

Cosy hotel close to the sea with amazing late-night sunsets. Extremely good cuisine! Rooms were impeccable, except for it being too hot in the summer with no proper air conditioning
