The Avalon Hotel

No longer available hotel but a full house able to rent for vacation weekends, takes pets as well. Nice house big kitchen, rooms all ensuite. Location is the real draw here, overlooks Tintagel ruins, ir at least King Arthur's statue on the island.

We found this gem by accident as we wanted to extend our stay in Cornwall. Wow, what a fabulous place, the views from the terrace and our room (3) are amazing. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable especially after walking the coastal path! We were only disappointed not to stay longer. We will definitely be back!!!

We have been looking for a decent cup of coffee and found it at the Avalon! Really friendly service and beautiful setting overlooking the sea. We decided to return for a breakfast and was equally pleased. Superb poached eggs on sourdough toast, yum! So, we have just been for one of the best meals we've had in Cornwall! A very intimate meal prepared by Anthony which was excellent in every way! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful food, and a sticky toffee pudding to die for! A great experience! We're going back! Thank you, Anthony!
