Baumhaus Dobel "Westweg"

The overnight stay is theoretically a fantastic idea and a great adventure for everyone. However, our stay was marred by a very loud wedding celebration in the clubhouse with extremely loud music until 2 a.m. There was no peace, quiet, or birdsong we had hoped for :-( It's a shame that they don't cooperate and warn you about this. It's best to inquire beforehand whether you should expect a party atmosphere on your chosen date.

And we really enjoyed it. We arrived by mountain bike and it was a great adventure. It's perhaps worth mentioning that the house is located right in the woods next to a training center. This, of course, has its pros and cons. On the one hand, there's a trampoline, soccer field, and barbecue area nearby. On the other hand, it's not exactly quiet at 10 a.m. :-)

Booking and processing went smoothly and without any problems. However, anyone wanting to spend the night in the woods at the Bauhaus is looking for peace and quiet. This weekend, there was a recreation and tent camp just 100 meters away with almost 250 children! My arrival day was also departure day. So, there were parents for every child, forklifts, tractors, and a huge crew of helpers. This should have been communicated beforehand. A shame, it was a complete disappointment.
