Agriturismo Villa Val d'Olivi Assisi

Villa Val d'Olivi is an early 20th-century property nestled on a hillside, surrounded by greenery. The rooms are very clean, equipped with every comfort, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is varied, with excellent homemade cakes. The surprise bruschetta was a real treat! The location is ideal, close to many points of interest, especially Assisi. I thank Cristina and her staff, who clearly put so much effort and passion into managing the property. I will definitely return, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the outdoor pool.

We were obviously the only guests and didn't feel very welcome. The room was handed over to us (a couple) with closed shutters and a crib provided; the hostess was barely present. The house and surroundings are very beautiful, as is the pool, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was disappointing: cappuccino from a fully automatic machine, croissants by no means fresh, and otherwise only long-life sweets, nothing fresh. Unfortunately, we don't recommend it.

This is a farmhouse in the countryside, a bit far from the center of Assisi. Getting around requires a car, and finding a parking spot in Assisi, despite the numerous parking lots, was not easy. Positives: - the location is very quiet; - the pool is a real treat in the summer; - the staff is very kind and available for any problems. - spacious room, very comfortable bed, and a terrace with a stunning view. What could be improved: - breakfast was good, although not very varied (several cakes, but no oatmeal, plain yogurt, little fresh fruit, no butter, etc.). I would recommend informing guests or writing in advance that savory options like eggs and cold cuts are also available. I only discovered this on the last day. There was a small issue with towels, which was promptly resolved by the owner. Overall, excellent value for money.
