Great stay at Lar Do Pazo for 1 night. We took a triple room for two people, which has a shared bathroom. This wasn’t a problem as the bathroom (shower plus toilet) was shared with only 1 other room. The other rooms had private bathrooms. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a little kitchen with a cooktop and a microwave. A fridge to store your own food. It is located in a rural setting and there is no much around. Therefore they provide a number of food and drink items for purchase at a reasonable price. For example you can buy hummus, tortilla, soup, chips, beer and sodas. There is a dedicated bike storage place, a big plus for us. There are many animals too for children to look at. There is a terrace and outdoor seating underneath the kiwi fruit vines. Check-in worked well and the room key was where it was said to be.

A hidden gem just a short five minute detour from the Camino de Santiago trail. Such a wonderful surprise to be able to have a true Camino experience along our journey. The rooms are big and spacious. It is very clean and organized not just a house but feels like home. The area is just gorgeous and property is beautifully maintained and Lago and his family take great pride in all they do to offer all their guests a truly magical experience. Don’t wait run to book this place.. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

If you're looking for a great place to stay between Pontevedra and Caldas de Reis, I highly recommend Lar do Pazo. It’s a charming and peaceful accommodation, perfect for pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago. The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water, making it a great way to relax after a long day of walking. The guesthouse has a large shared terrace overlooking a farm with animals that are part of the property, as well as beautiful natural scenery. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. While there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby (the closest tavern is about 500 meters away and the nearest restaurant is 1 km in the opposite direction), the shared kitchen is well-equipped. There are also basic food supplies available for purchase at cost price, such as cheeses, cold cuts, Pasta, asauces, soups, and more, making it easy to prepare your own meal. The owner, Iago, was incredibly helpful and happy to accommodate our special requests. We primarily communicated with him via WhatsApp, but we also had the chance to meet him in person, and he was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic stop along the Camino. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return! Tamar & Azar
