Hotel Restaurant zum Hirschen

Our stay at the hotel was truly excellent. Very warm and welcoming hospitality, great cleanliness, and a very spacious and extremely comfortable room. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was brilliant right in the center, with the ski shuttle bus very close by. A grocery store was only 100 meters away, and ski rental was just 30 meters from the hotel, which was extremely convenient. Special thanks to Flori, who was always there for us throughout our stay. He is a very kind, noble, and exceptionally respectful person. We would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation!

I unexpectedly had to stay here with my dog when my car broke down for 5 days. But wow, the food… the staff… both fantastic. Some of the best food I’ve had in Austria (I come here often). All the traditional recipes, but just done with a lot of care and attention. Breakfast buffet has everything and, even better has ‘good’ everything. I had two dinners in, and everything was stand out (inc their 2 Mousse) and the Pinot noir pictured was grand. The staff in the restaurant were also delightful and really looked after myself and my dog. A huge thanks to all of them.

Wonderful traditional Austrian meal at the Hotel Zum Hirshen last night celebrating the end of our fantastic family holiday in ZellAmSee. Warm friendly atmosphere and if you fancy some apres ski, head diwnstairs. We pre booked a few days in advance by popping in to chat to staff and read the menu in multiple languages. No issues at all. As a table of 7 Inc children we were warmly greeted by all the staff and the service throughout the meal was absolutely fantastic, in typical Austrian style. Special mention to the head waiter from Romania and colleague from Greece who looked after us so well. Super friendly, attentive to drinks and excellent suggestions on wine and starters. The Weiner schnitzel with potato salad was best we had in Zell. Family enjoyed the chefs choice starter, mains of Boiled beef, roasted potatoes and whipped spinach, cheese fondues and prawn tagliatelle. I'll be booking again for my next visit in March.
