Visited 30th January 2026. First and most important, Beautiful located. Parking spots are available but limited. Public buses available during the day. We travelled from La Christiano to the hotel. And went to La laguna around 15:00ish. Dinner and breakfast can be arranged at the Hotel’s in-house restaurant. Next to the hotel, is a small museum (can be entered free of cost). Indoor pool and gym can be used (towels will be provided). Staff handling the dinner service was amazing. However, staff managing the breakfast service the next morning can try to be little bit more pleasant and cheerful. Room was good, but after one flush - water did not stop flowing so had to ask for service and it got fixed quickly. Overall, a nice stay.

During February 2026, I spent a few days in room 103 of the Parador de Las Cañada del Teide hotel in Tenerife. The restaurant menu was okay, the restaurant service was occasionally a comedy show of fumbling with the serving cart and items falling off an overflowing cart. The handsome cyclists from professional cycling teams were entertaining—great eye candy. But the room was a bit of a disaster. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was covered by a radiator and therefore unusable, the bathroom blind kept sticking to the window, the window handle opened the wrong way, the toilet paper became a wet, sticky mess when using the shower, three screws protruded above a floor panel in the bathroom posing a serious foot injury hazard, the wardrobe was still too small for one person even though it was a double room, the view from the window was a roof with technical installations and the shower mixer worked backwards: opening the tap required moving the handle backward, and the hot and cold water positions were reversed. The air conditioning wasn't working, resulting in high temperatures both day and night. The reception staff responded to this complaint by telling to open the window to cool the room. However, a whirring fan was running, making it impossible to cool the room at night. Moreover, this approach doesn't work during the day when the sun shines strongly and heats up the room considerably. In short, this Parador experience, unlike other hotels in the chain, was an ordeal. My recommendation: demolish this building and build a modern hotel.

Staff delightful from arrival to departure. Restaurant provides a superb breakfast and an excellent dinner with a wide and interesting menu. Wines well chosen and good value. Setting awesome. There is a range of walks on the doorstep. Location central so you can easily reach anywhere on the island. Even our standard room had a marble bathroom with twin sinks.
