Cashel Campsite

Booked here for 4 nights... nice site and easy to find. The lady in the shop was very welcoming and informative. Beautiful location right on the Loch. We booked a premium Loch view pitch and it certainly didnt disappoint. The showers and toilets were immaculately clean. The pitches were well spaced, and the little shop sold a decent amount of supplies that you may want or may have forgotten to bring. The only down fall i would say that wouldnt amount to me giving 5 stars... is that the picnic benches were rotten and falling apart. Otherwise I couldnt fault the site or the customer service given. We had a lovely stay here. The owners were very welcoming especially the lady who catered for our needs. When we arrived the wind had really picked up so she let us pick a more covered spot away from the Loch front which we had originally chose. The facilities are clean and maintained well and there is a small shop if you need any supplies. We liked the fridge magnets they were selling so we bought one! It is very relaxing here. The views are beautiful. There is a river with a cool little bridge to cross and there is a kids play park and a chill out area.

Two nights here at end of September. Amazing setting. Paid extra for lakeside pitch, worth the extra. Well kept, good facilities. They did have a lot of rules, no tents or awnings on the grass between hardstandings seemed a bit much but didn't cause us a problem (motorhome). Found the staff very helpful and polite, they did enforce the rules but I guess they don't make them. Would certainly go back although the road to it would be tight in anything really big. No midges but it was late September. Lovely walk around the shore of the lake. Was told by another resident that there was some amazing hill walking behind the campsite but we were too lazy for that.
