Ani Guesthouse is run by the owner, a very friendly, multilingual lady, who makes sure her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are newly renovated (like the whole place), with high ceilings and plenty of space. There is a garden with beautiful lawn and a cosy seating arrangement, ideal for a relaxing read or the afternoon tea of coffee. The bathroom has a classy, free-standing tub. Breakfast is served in the common kitchen and consists of scrambled (or any other type of) eggs and the very tasty, typical Romanian dishes like Zacusca, home made pancakes and jam, etc - a real treat and the perfect way to start the day… All in all, Ani Guesthouse offers an extremely relaxing and a enjoyable stay off the beaten track - highly recommended!

My staying at Ani Guesthouse in Richis and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The guesthouse is located in a charming village and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and forests. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with traditional Transylvanian furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. The owners of Ani Guesthouse, were incredibly hospitable and made me feel like a part of their family. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay, including recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast they provided each morning was outstanding - homemade jams, fresh bread, eggs, and a variety of other delicious items. I would highly recommend Ani Guesthouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in beautiful Transylvania.

A nice place to enjoy the vibe of the transilvania countryside. The rooms are big and newly renovated, no AC available but it’s not necessarily. You can eat if you request in advance. Ileana from the staff is very friendly and she always tries to help you. From an hospitality perspective there is a lot of room for improvement.
