Penhale Camping Looe

Stayed here for a few nights whilst on a fishing trip out of Looe. Gerrard the owner was personable and most helpful when we had a battery problem on our campervan and he kindly helped us to get it started again. The site is fairly level with grass and hard standing pitches with great views out to sea. Facilities were fine, toilets were clean and well lit and water was hot when required. The lane leading down to the site is quite narrow but with plenty of passing spaces, helps to make the site seem even more private which was no bad thing in our view. The dog walking area is a big plus. Will definitely be back, just what we expect a CS site to be.

Great campsite and lovely owners. We arrived and were shown to a very large pitch which suited our needs perfectly. The view, and the feel of the place made us instantly feel calm and relaxed. The kitchen area and facilities were kept very clean, and the campsite was lovely and quiet. Lots of smaller touches helped us to feel comfortable i.e the hair dryer, the sanitary disposal bags, the hand towels. We had a problem with our car which meant us staying a bit longer which was not an issue for the owner who did not pressure us to leave and was very understanding. As a family we are not used to camping but the stay was great and area was a great base. Thank you Penhale Camping.
