This hotel provided a wonderful 2 day stay for our tour group of 11 international travelers from 5 countries The check in and check out was easy. RENATA provided excellent front desk service. Lobby is open and welcoming with comfy sofas and seating area and full bar. The conference room is off the lobby. The accessible venue offered us free seating to see the Baltic International Dart Conference this weekend. Breakfast buffet is excellent hosted by SAMANTHA and a team of hard working people kept the bust buffet stocked and answered our queries. Buffet included 3 coffee machines for all things coffee, teas, cocoa. Machine juices. Fresh cheeses esp a local smoked cheese, meats, medium cooked bacon, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, a delightful tomato and mozzarella combo, fresh breads, yogurt and cereals. Our twin room is spacious with small desk and chair, side tables and a view of the port. Walk-in shower with shampoo and hand soap. 3 pillows and comforters. Note that the port side view has a train that works at night so if noise a problem, ask for a city side room Note that the port side of hotel has a train that runs at night. Ask for city room to avoid noise

The hotel itself is in good condition and clean, the room is basic, there is free on site parking and the breakfast buffet is quite good. The location is easy to reach and close to both the city and the harbour. On a critical note: the pillows on the bed are not very good and offer close to no support. The biggest downside though is the fact that the hotel is located directly next to a marshalling yard for the harbour, it is not big but very busy and diesel locomotives keep pushing wagons around 24/7 so for a light sleeper this is probably not the best choice.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good. The location is convenient – close to the city center and the Dolphinarium. However, it’s worth mentioning that the hotel is located right next to the railway, which made sleeping very difficult due to the loud noise. There is an air conditioner, but it is extremely loud and positioned directly above the bed, making it unusable at night. While the staff seemed pleasant at first, we were disappointed during check-out by a very strange situation. We were told that we needed to pay for supposedly missing items from the minibar, which we had not even touched. After the staff rechecked, it turned out that nothing was missing. There was no clear explanation for what had happened, and the reaction felt indifferent. This left an odd aftertaste – had we not insisted on a double-check, we might have ended up paying for something we never used.
