Unfortunately I have to advise people to avoid this hotel. My partner booked a room here for my birthday night. Upon entering the lady on reception was lovely and welcoming. We where told the is no tea or coffee in the room but we can get it from reception. We where then told there wasnt really anywhere we could get food by then (9pm) but they do sell pot noodles. I passed. The seating area/reception looked brilliant and I was really excited to see the room. The lift wasn't working but wasn't a problem for us personally. Upon entering the room I was rather shocked considering what the rooms we just walked through where like. It was very small, outdated and basic with a stained carpet. But we did only need a place to sleep for the night so it was ok and i didnt want to make my partner feel bad by complaining. As the night went on we discovered more and more, the first thing being that the bathroom was not clean at all. Hair from the guest before and water marks still on the shower doors. Toilet brush in the room which to me is a big no no in hotels. Luckily I had brought bottled water and my own towel but I ended up not even wanting to use the shower. The bed was comfortable however the room was so unbearably cold all night even with the very loud heading on I didn't get 1 wink of sleep. The window might as well be non existent because even with the curtains trapped against the wall with the chairs the wind was howling through the room all night. I suffer multiple chronic pain disabilities and the cold caused me a lot of pain and flare up. This room shouldn't even be sold to people the condition it is in. There was not a member of staff around all night to do anything about it either! Luckily I have an amazing partner and we left very early to see the sun rise over the beach. The location is absolutely stunning and made for a beautiful birthday morning. But in all truth we might have had a better night if we'd slept in the car.

A lovely place to stay in Linton. The staff are fantastic and very helpful and our turret room was amazing with views over the village and the sea. A short walk from all shops, pubs and cafes and the coastal path. Spotlessly clean and very cosy. A very good price, especially for this area.

Avoid! Some rooms are in terrible condition some are renovated. The hotel had no working elevator, hot water or heating during our stay in November. Electric towel heaters didn't work either, neither did the toilet in our first room. Management was aware of the hot water issue prior to arrival and didn't notify us and failed to issue any acceptable amount of refund. They offered 15% back after chasing them for a week, which I'm yet to receive. Felt terrible for the staff as they worked their hardest to keep guests comfortable and informed.
