Hotel Meudon

We got married at Hotel Meudon in January and it was perfect for our small, intimate day. It was cold but mostly sunny, and the winter light in the gardens made it feel really special. Abi and Lucy were fantastic — calm, organised and genuinely lovely to deal with. And the whole team were amazing throughout. They made everything feel easy. The catering was top notch, and the ramen station in the evening got loads of compliments from our guests. Staying the night topped it all off. A beautiful place and a day we’ll always remember.

Be careful if you are booking a wedding here as there is no communication or phone number to call all communication is via email. Do not hand over money to them unless you are completely sure about the booking. I gave them my deposit early to hold the date then they couldn’t accommodate my extra guests and tried to move my date. They then refused to refund the deposit even though the money was not due for another 4 days.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Meudon Cornwall. The family room was very comfortable, and the hotel’s décor is lovely. One of the highlights was definitely the stunning gardens — the subtropical garden is truly incredible. The location is excellent, with many beautiful Cornwall attractions easily accessible. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and themed evenings like BBQ in the garden, which was a real highlight. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Very peaceful atmosphere — perhaps a bit more serene than our lively little ones were used to! Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Cornwall.
