Port Gaverne Hotel

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The staff were fantastic and made us feel so well looked after from start to finish. The food was excellent - lots to choose from but we went for the Surf n Turf and the Fish & Chips and capped if off we cheese and biscuits to share. Also loved how dog friendly the hotel is – our one was made very welcome too! We will definitely be back.

The rooms are extremely beautiful, and the refurbishment has been done to a very high standard. Every room is stunning, with great attention to detail. The staff are all friendly and very family-welcoming, which really makes a difference. When we came back for the second time, nothing had physically changed — and that was a good thing. The high standards were exactly the same, and the staff’s attitude was just as friendly and welcoming as before. The food downstairs in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the setting itself was very, very nice. Overall, a fantastic experience and somewhere we would happily return to again.

Lovely small hotel/ pub, full of charm! Fabulous food, very friendly staff especially Trixie (or similar name) who was so sweet and caring. The extra touches were lovely. We did valentines day and there were petals on the bed, a bottle of fizz and a love themed menu for dinner, so thoughtful! Lovely quality linen and towels, we were in room 5 which was charming. And dry robes in the wardrobe!! A gem of a find.
