If you’re visiting Tuscany, staying at La Macia is a must. We stopped over during our bikepacking trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our journey. The views are stunning, and the space has that perfect boutique feel—thoughtfully designed, stylish, and full of character (I especially loved the art dotted around the place!). Muriel and Stefan were the perfect hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive. Thank you for showing us around and taking such good care of us 💖🙏. And a special shoutout to Stefan’s bread… after days of eating saltless Tuscan bread, it was a real treat to finally taste something with a proper crust and flavour!

Muriel and Stefan were the best! We couldn't believe such a scenic view up top (we actually cycled up there), but then further welcomed by both of them in such a well decorated home as well. The pool was a great addition in the hot month of July, and being up top also had a great breeze. It was of course Muriel & Stefan that made this home so welcoming. Not too far away in Consuma (small town nearby) there's also a great sandwich shop.

La Macia is a beautiful quiet place in the Casentino Valley hold by Muriel and Stefan. She made the decoration of the both comfortable studios with small kitchens . She will give you good addresses and Stefan her man will teach you how To cook bread. You can spend a peaceful afternoon at the pool and visit the chickens. 40 km away from Firrenze you can enjoy all the small villages around typical from Tuscany. We warmly recommand this peaceful place for a resting week. We enjoyed our time there do not hesitate To book.
