Camping du Mont Saint-Michel

For the price The place was decent. The bus stop to go to mont saint Michel was very close so it was convenient. If they cleaned the carpets to get rid of the odor it would definitely be 5 star.... We bought a candle and that help but stains still visible.

Probably the closest camping to Mont Saint-Michel, nice 30 min walk or free shuttle busses. Large territory with hotel, restaurant, souveneer shop, basic bakery. Probably very busy in summer. Reception 24/7, speak English, very friendly. Book online!! You will receive the code via email (need it for entering the territory). You pay twice: for the pitch upfront and for the territory upon exit. Large grass pitches, quiet. Toilet/showers clean but outdated. Mixed M/F, no sound privacy, not possible to regulate hight of the shower. But all in all, very well organised, though expensive.

Stayed in our motorhome. Beware falling conkers! There’s trees everywhere! Noisy wedding venue also at weekends until way past midnight… no noise restrictions. Buses and cars drove past our pitch at all hours. Then they charge you €10 per day to exit the camp… we’d been there 2 days, so got charged €20 on top of the €29 a day to stay. Great location to see Mont Saint Michel, but certainly wouldn’t stay there again. Theres a camp a few km away that is definitely within cycle range. When complained to staff regarding the camp exit charge, they didn’t care in the slightest.
