Grasmere Glamping - Broadrayne Farm

Great little pod! Good option close to Grasmere, with walks and some good fells on your doorstep. The pod itself is a great use of space, with excellent facilities in the kitchen and a lovely hot shower. Perfect for a cosy night in with a large sofa, heating (we loved the heated floor especially!) and fully connected TV. We cooked a couple of meals in the pod kitchen but it was a bonus to have The Yan bistro on site too (which was the reason we booked to stay!), we enjoyed a couple of dinners and breakfasts and they were all great.

Perfect location for exploring Grasmere and surrounding Lakes and attractions. The Glamping Pod had everything you could need for a great little holiday, we were able to keep holiday costs down making the most of the kitchen/ fridge facilities by self-catering and despite being relatively snug was plenty big enough for 2 adults. We were lucky to experience gorgeous weather but if it had been rainy i am sure the heated floor, log burner and en-suit ( so no need to leave the pod for night-time toilet trips!) would have come in handy!! The pretty little porch was a perfect spot for alfresco dinning and enjoying the breath taking view of the fell opposite. We even had a few visits from the chicken neighbours in the evenings! The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the accommodation was clean, well equipped and great value. We would definitely recommend and return if visiting the Lakes again.

Just home from fabulous 4 night stay in Seat Sandal pod. Found by chance reading a magazine article. Thought it would be something different for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The pods are perfect in every way so well thought out. Under floor heating, excellent wifi, and bluetooth speaker system. Lovely comfy bed actually slept like a log. Family run and hosts are lovely. We had one of the best meals we have ever had in The Yan restaurant on site all 3 courses excellent and lovely atmosphere. Loads of walks from the farm with all the information you need in the pods. So many lovely nice touches. So good we have booked to go back in September. Only a 20 minute walk into Grasmere. Easy walk and off road with lovely views.
