Friendly service and good restaurant. It is true what they say about the Kirschtorte and beds, but overall the food is very good - I had two meals there - and the beds -though short- are comfy. Good value. Excellent way to start the (more attractive) southern section of the Westweg hiking route.

They were really warm welcoming people. The place is just what you need after a day of walking or cycling or whatever in nature. The food was surprisingly amazing, delicious and quite more than enough. The price are affordable due to the location which a bit far from big cities! Highly recommended to stay and eat and etc . 🙏🏽👌✌️👍

This is about the food part of this place. Lovely terrace, nice friendly staff, but the Schwarzwald Torte is probably the worst I've ever had. Enormous amount of cream, sponge base, canned cherries with no taste. I don't want to be too negative, as the place itself seems fine, but the cake was really that bad.
