Casa da Capela

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at Casa da Capela! A truly authentic Portuguese guesthouse full of charm and warmth. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful — they even helped us wash our clothes. I had a blister on my foot and the lady was so caring, she helped me treat it so I could walk again the next day without any problem. The food they prepare there was delicious and homemade, full of authentic flavors. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming — we felt right at home and would love to come back someday! 💛

The Best Stay on Our Camino! Casa da Capela was without a doubt the best place we’ve stayed on the entire Camino. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The owners are kind, genuine, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food was absolutely superb — the best we’ve had on our journey — homemade, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with love. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, with a sense of care in every detail of the house. When my aunt suffered badly with blisters, they didn’t hesitate to help — arranging a taxi and ensuring she received proper care. Their kindness and generosity truly touched us. If you’re walking the Camino, do not miss staying here. It’s a place that restores your body and lifts your spirit — a beautiful haven of hospitality and heart.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed on our entire trip. Charming and friendly host attends to any queries, so helpful. The property is a restored farmhouse and is beautifully done, we sat out in the garden and watched the sunset, relaxing and taking it all in, I can’t recommend more highly. If you are walking the Camino and you need time out to pamper yourself, don’t pass it by.
