Agriturismo Sierro Lo Greco

Roberto was a great host. Not only is Sierro Le Greco very charming and welcoming, but so is Roberto. He gave us a very warm welcome and provides lots of great tips to discover the region : how to visit matera, where to eat, what to do, the nice beaches around, and a wonderful insider tip : the best foccacia with view we ever had. He also had lovely attentions. Last but not least : the two dogs are as cute and welcoming as him. Would recommend 100%.

I stopped by for an educational project with a summer group. The facility offers an adventure park, which is particularly popular with children. We were greeted with Laterza bread to color with yogurt and food coloring. The food was good; some children enjoyed it with second and third helpings. I especially enjoyed the orecchiette with tomato sauce. The facility has a relaxing, rustic and natural atmosphere, and the staff is friendly.

Beautiful place and super friendly owners. It's worth staying in this wonderful place. P.S. The breakfast alone is worth the trip.
