Hotel Pension Geiger

This is a lovely place, the best we have stayed in Germany this week. The room is spacious with a large private bathroom. The breakfast is plentiful with protein, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, breads, cereals. Within short walking distance is a delightful Bavarian restaurant with delicious food, good beer and good prices, a local place with nice outdoor ambiance.

We travelled to Bad Tölz for the weekend for a friend's wedding. The hotel was very pleasant. The owner was very accommodating for a late check in as our flight from London arrived into Munich later in the evening. The room was a decent size and absolutely spotless. We only ate breakfast once due to a slight handover on the second day but it was very nice. It's a nice short walk into the main town via the streets but the walk along the river is much nicer, it just takes a couple of extra minutes. All in all everything was great and we would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We booked a 4 person room. Personal was friendly and willing to help even in our late arrival to the hotel. Breakfast was nice, don't forget to try the apple juice 🙂
