Hemavans Wärdshus

Loved this hotel. It is cosy, the showers have nice soaps. Staff is helpfull and easy going. They had a fire in May so some of the facilities are closed at this moment, but they were really upfront with that and worked with what they had. Which I appreciated a lot.

A good atmosphere.. only slightly stiff. I had a nice snack in the evening which was very carefully done and it has good and appropriate music. Not as good as silence, though. The breakfast is really nice. The shower is very good. The place is beautiful and pleasant. The heating pipes are a bit noisy but just like most places in peak winter, from my experience. The staff is pleasant

We are there for LRF meeting and have dinner and stayed over for one night. The hotel feels cozy and the food is even over my high expectation. Most locally sourced ingredients, deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. I really liked the fresh blueberry juice served with the main course. The serving also is professional and very comfortable. After eating, we also really enjoyed sitting in front of the big old style fireplace. Both me and my husband slept really well. The room is old style but with totally new bathroom. The morning breakfast has many different things to select. Including many kinds of juice and milk. They also offer porridge, scrambled eggs with bacon and pancakes. It was a really calm and joyful stay.
