Hotel Ferienwelt Kristall

When we arrived they were very welcoming, the hotel was lovely and warm , room was a good size and clean , we had two rooms one for a family that had a sofa bed for the children , nothing was to much effort by all staff, breakfast was buffetstyle no cooked breakfast but we had enough, evening dinner was very nice every night , drinks were a little expensive but it is a hotel, bus every 30 mins to gondola great service. Boot room , Christmas was lovely and even had a visit from santa which was a lovely touch , even getting a gift very nice . Perfect for families,

I have been staying at this hotel for many years, going back in January 2024 for another snowboarding holiday. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Homely and cosy atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Brilliant breakfast buffet and evening meal, catering for all dietary requirements. Family-friendly hotel with a swimming pool and plenty of parking if required. Close to the village centre and within walking distance to both ski lifts (regular bus to and from the lifts leaves and stops at the hotel). Highly recommended.

Irregular water temperature in shower when you need to relax after skiing. Balcony door not closing completely so you hear cars and feel cold from outside. Radiators lukewarm, ski cellar overfilled with equipment. Forget heated shoe holders. Mediocre rooms, reception and restaurant, not worth 4* at all. Looks and feels old not in a good way. Same quite limited buffet every morning, not 4* again. Now a few good things - waiters kind and quick, saunas are good too. Location gets 3 stars despite smelly farms around and small city center because there are ski slopes some 200m away. The slopes are okay, but narrow so expect crowding.
