Alpine Budget Rooms by Täscherhof

Just next to the Tasch station, which was a good alternative to Zermatt, and the shuttle from Tasch to Zermatt was comfortable and efficient. I almost fainted when I realised my chalet room was tucked at the dark, gloomy part of the building, and to be access by a narrow staircase. But when I opened the room door, it was a different feeling. The room was comfortable and clean; the toilet was clean and bright on one side, but the shower area would not get the light at night. So I had to shower before sunset. Shower facilities were new, clean. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Staff at the desk were not the friendliest, greetings were almost non-initiated. I was also charged double for my 2 nights' stay; luckily I found out and clarified. I would not hesitate to stay here the next time, if Zermatt accommodation gets too expensive or with fewer choices.

The room was cozy and bigger than I expected from photos. Staff is top class, very helpful. I hope to come again. PS if you are higher than 190 cm or so bed and shower might not be suitable.

The hotel was situated at a prime location.. you will find it as soon as you get out of the Täsch station.. the hotel was well maintained and quite cheap as well.. Their service was good, the front desk assistant was really polite and friendly.. we enjoyed the stay.
