Hotel Hari im Schlegeli

This wonderful hotel sits across the valley from wall to wall mountains. It’s classy without being pretentious. The rooms are smart. The service and food are very good. It’s ideal for walking, hiking, cable car using.

Excellent stay on August 31st, 2024. I’ve been in Switzerland for 16 days and have stayed in a different property each night. Hands down this was the best property yet. Why? David was excellent as the FDA checking me in. He was kind, attentive, and welcoming. The room was clean. The morning breakfast was great, with fresh kiwis. The croissants were flaky and soft on the inside. The women providing service at breakfast were very savvy in their customer service skills. And quite attentive to guest needs. Friendly to boot. Sometimes hard to find in Switzerland. And the sauna, hot tub, and relaxation amenities were great for my Via Alpina induced soreness. All in all I would heartily recommend staying here. Just a 8 minute walk from the bus station in Adelboden. Or a 2 stop bus ride. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Extremely rude attitude during reservation. I selected the hotel based on good reviews. Approached the hotel via email and asked for availability for 2 nights. Got an answer there are no rooms. Later during the day found availability on booking.com and made a booking there. I got a rude answer that I cannot arrive late and that it is not acceptable to make bookings via another platform after getting a direct email. I cancelled and booked another property , in the end this is supposed to be a relaxed weekend rather than arguing with a grumpy owner. Don’t even bother to look into this one.
