Had a nice evening out in good surroundings. Food and service was good not great. Ribs were noteworthy as was the Turkey/roast special. Chilli was good but a little more runny than usual. Thai curry was a red version not too hot but thin sauce with chicken that appeared pre-cooked and peppers in there under cooked as well for this dish. I would say better than average but would definitely advise going over the road to the Cumberland Inn!

We visited for Sunday lunch and had a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely - friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome, especially with our two young children. The dining area was lovely with the fire lit. The food was excellent and very good value, something that feels increasingly rare these days! We would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

We visited on Christmas eve for dinner. Very friendly and welcoming staff. It was quite quiet when we arrived but it soon filled up. We had the steak pie and nachos, both were delicious. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
